Conducting the E-Money Business

A company that issues e-money conducts the electronic money business and is therefore potentially subject to qualification as an electronic money institution. The consequence of this fact is that the company concerned has to apply for a licence under section 8a subsection 1 ZAG.

The term e-money is defined in the ZAG and is restricted by two exceptions.
